Yanalla Farms Events

Yanalla Farms supports local hospitality and tourism with our events and produce.  The long-table lunch in our orchard showcased our region's wonderful ingredients and brought the local community together.

The Curated Plate event was blessed with gorgeous weather and brought together a wonder bunch of people to share amazing stories

In the 'Restaurent Without Walls', the long tables in our orchard were set for a classic dining experience featuring Yanalla Farms produce and other delicious local ingredients.

The unique menu of six courses was matched with outstanding wines, or guests could choose craft-brewed beers and ciders.

A highlight of the event was the farm tour to see PinksBlush custard apples growing and of course the opportunity to taste PinksBlush presented with imagination in dishes devised by the Curated Plate chef. We loved the spiced beef with tropical fruits (including PinksBlush) and the fantastic PinksBlush deconstructed cheesecake with raspberry and mango!

Guests heard stories from the growers, shared our farm-grown pecan nuts and had a masterclass with chef, Sean Heyward.

Friendship and possibilities

A relaxed lunch is always an enjoyable opportunity to make new friends and contacts.

We welcomed guests from the community and from local tourism and cultural companies. It was a bonus to be able to swap stories and hear what others in the region are doing.

Visit Sunshine Coast was there to support us and we were delighted to meet the folks from Biral Tours, a local business owned by an elder of the traditional land custodians, the Undumbi people. Their bush walkabout and kayaking tours give new insights into our local landmarks and environment.

For us, as farmers, it is fantastic to feel part of our broader community and the exciting things happening in our region.

We’ll look forward to another opportunity to welcome you to our place before too long!
